MarshClan always prided itself on the number of kits they had. They considered it a blessing from StarClan, something to boast about at Gatherings to the other Clans. They looked forward to training the kits into warriors, knowing that the future of the Clan was strong. However, things began to go bad when the kits were made into warriors. After a harsh leaf-bare left DustClan with little prey, a young MarshClan warrior began to bring them food. She was caught by Hawkstar, however, and banished from MarshClan. The sun is often hidden by clouds, and the chill is felt throughout all the territories. Prey is somewhat difficult to come by all over the forest, and hunting patrols need to look very hard. The Clan cats may be in danger of chill of green-cough due to the cold and are advised to fluff out their fur and report any coughing to their medicine cat.
